Hi all! This time I would love to review The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey Body Butter. If your body skin so dry even though you put lotion everyday, maybe your skin need higher moisturizer like body butter.

The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey come in white cylindrical jar with cover illustrated with almond covered with milk and honey. It is available in two size, 50 ml and 200 ml. Mine is 50 ml one.

This body butter specially formulated to respect sensitive, dry skin. Enriched with almond milk from Spain, Community Trade honey from Ethiopia, Community Trade shea butter from Ghana. 100% vegetarian. 100% cruelty free.

Panthenol -maintain skins natural moisture balance, speeding up wound healing, and reduce the risk of irritation and inflammation.

Cetearyl Alcohol - fatty alcohol that found in animal and plants, like coconut and palm oil. It is considered an effective ingredient for soothing and healing dry skin, but labeled for comedogenic rating of 2 (the oil will not clog pores for most people, but some will begin to notice clogged pores in some cases).

Benzyl Alcohol - organic alcohol that occurs naturally in some fruits (apricots, cranberries). It is used for preservative in cosmetics. It is safe ingredients for cosmetics but there is some case studies show possible allergenic.

Parfum / Fragrance - possibly irritating / allergic for sensitive skin.

The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey Body Butter have thick buttery texture. This body butter have quite strong fragrance for me, but the scent of sweet almond milk is quite pleasing for me.

This The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey Body Butter is really moisturizing, but it takes a while for it to fully absorb into the skin like other body butter. My skin really feels moist when using this body butter but there is an initial greasy feel sometimes that goes away once the moisturizer dries.

My body skin is not dry skin type and I live in tropical country that has high humidity, so I use the body butter for knee, elbow, and any other area that need higher moisturizer.

I think this body butter will suitable for dry skin and sensitive skin. I used to buy The Body Shop Body Butter for my late grandmother before I starting write this blog. She is really enjoy this body butter because it can help moisturize her dry skin peeling without make her feeling itchy. (she was in her 90s, and skin becomes more sensitive as we get older, right? She is really enjoy The Body Shop Body Butter, even though I don't always buy the Almond Milk & Honey varian for her)

I really recommended this body butter for someone that has dry skin or living in a place where the weather is very cold.
