Living in Jakarta (which the air pollution here is considered high) make me concern about cleanse my face. I heard many good reviews for Laneige Perfect Pore Cleansing Oil so I loved to try this cleansing oil although I'm not a fan of cleansing oil. I'm more into micellar water since I found micellar water is more lightweight and easier to used for me.

Description

"Deep Cleansing oil containing mugwort extract that washes off even the heaviest makeup and melts sebum and blackheads." It is what written on the packaging.

Ingredients

Isopropyl Palmitate, Pentaerythrityl Tetraethylhexanoate, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate, PEG-8 Isostearate, Dextrin Palmitate, Glyceryl Behenate/Eicosadioate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Artemisia Princeps Leaf Water, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract, Althaea Officinalis Root Extract, Lippia Citriodora Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Butylene Glycol, Coco-Caprylate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance

 

Packaging

The box came with white blue design with Laneige logo. Inside the box, there are one tosca colored bottle contains the cleansing oil and the additional pump dispenser packaged separately. The bottle is semi transparent, so I can easily see the amount left.

It also has sealed layer inside to prevent the cleansing oil accidentally leaked or contaminated before being used.

The pump dispenser can be turned to the left or right to open or close lock which helps to ensure that no leakage will occur upon traveling purposes.

 

Texture, Fragrance

Laneige Perfect Pore Cleansing Oil texture like light oil and colorless like water. It has gentle floral and fruit scent which I like.

 

Result

I have combination to oily skin and I used this cleansing oil following the instruction that written on the bottle: 

" 1. Pump 2-3 times on dry palm and massage on dry face for 30 seconds

2. Pump once more and thoroughly massage on places with blackheads (sides of the nose, both cheecks, etc).

3. Gently wet the hand with lukewarm water and massage the face for another 30 seconds

4. Wash face throughly with lukewarm water "


The cleansing oil help remove my makeup (I do not wear heavy makeup daily, I put my pictures using my daily makeup below) and it surprisingly easy to wash off! I cannot see if this cleansing oil melts my blackhead or not, but my skin feels more clean and smooth on my blackhead area (especially my nose), so I think yes it helps clean my blackhead.

I always do double cleansing, so, after using this cleansing oil I used facial wash (I'm using Senka Perfect Whip Cleansing Foam (click to see the review) when I write this post) to continue my cleansing routine.
